I think you should know, at least, about the lepers. Only one of them came back. It might be a story about ungratefulness, or miracles or the real meaning of 'whole' Luke didn't say. I wonder also if my Lord lay awake, nights, wondering if the other nine made it to the priests, and what they said there. I promise: when I get to the other side, I'll send a postcard.
Dear zebrazebrazebra: If you're ever wondering if you've changed a life, the answer is "yes," and "hurray!" <3 This poem is a year old-ish, from when Zebra^3 came back.
I just read the bit in the New Testament (Luke 17:11-19, right?) and it's an interesting passage. Kind of confusing because they all got healed too...the spiritual aspect is intriguing. I'll have to return to this again.
You know, this has been up for a long time. It's embarrassing to realize that it IS from Luke, and I referred to John. Yes, that's the passage. Only one of the lepers came back to Christ to acknowledge the miracle. The others... just kept going.
And with this i say a welcome back to DA to you too. Lovely poem. Gave me much to think about. I hope this is not going to be the only entry for another 27 weeks.

At least
I think that is what this does.
